Hey, I’m Rob Hewitt, lead engineer at Golden Turtle Sound. I’ve spent over two decades immersed in production, sound design, mixing, and mastering—and I know firsthand how exciting and challenging the creative process can be.

A producer helps shape those raw ideas into a polished, release-ready track that feels cohesive, emotional, and unmistakably you. How much does it cost to work with you?
Every project is different, and pricing depends on what you need—whether it’s full production, mixing, mastering, or something in between. What I can promise is that you’ll walk away with music you’re proud of and confident sharing. Think of it less as a cost and more as an investment in your sound and your career.

Will I lose creative control if I hire a producer?
Definitely not. You always have the final say. My role is to support your vision, add polish, and bring ideas to the table—but the sound and direction remain authentically yours.
And when it comes to rights and royalties, nothing changes—you own the finished production outright. I just ask for a proper credit.
How do I know the end result will sound the way I want?
Communication is everything. We’ll start by talking through your vision, references, and goals so I know exactly what you’re going for. Along the way I’ll share drafts, get your feedback, and fine-tune until the track feels right to you.
I’ve worked with producers before and it didn’t go well. How are you different?
I keep things transparent and collaborative from start to finish. You’ll always know where we’re at, and your input shapes the direction every step of the way. Most artists I work with come back because they feel heard, supported, and happy with how their music turns out.
And here’s something important: I only take on projects I know I can deliver at a high level. If your vision is better served by someone else, I’ll point you toward a colleague who’s the right fit.
Can you guarantee my song will blow up?
No one can guarantee streams or fame—and if someone says they can, they’re not being real with you. What I can guarantee is that your track will sound professional, competitive, and release-ready, giving it the best shot to connect with listeners. Great production can’t replace promotion, but it does give your music the foundation it needs to succeed.
How long does it take to finish a song?
It depends on the project, but most single tracks take about 3–5 days once we get started. If you’ve got a deadline, just let me know—I’ll be upfront about what’s realistic so you’re never left hanging.
Can I just start with one song instead of a full project?
Absolutely. A lot of artists start with one track to test the waters and see how the collaboration feels—no pressure. If you love the result, we can always build on it and talk about an EP or album down the line.
