You don’t need to sacrifice your vision to compete in today’s music industry. The artists who win are the ones who fully embrace what makes them different—while delivering polished, competitive productions.
Got a raw, home-recorded song idea? I’ll help shape it into a fully produced, polished track that feels true to your vision—and ready to release to the world with confidence.
If your song is written and recorded but missing that punch, clarity, or balance, I’ll mix and master it so it holds its own against today’s top tracks.
We’ll meet 1:1 to dive into your taste, influences, and goals. Together, we’ll share references and ideas to shape the direction for your sound.
This is where your song takes shape. From beats and sound design to arrangement and vibe, we’ll build out the track together while keeping your vision front and center.
Here the details get dialed in. I’ll balance levels, add clarity and punch, and make sure your track translates across all systems—ready to sit alongside today’s top releases.
When the track is finished, we’ll map out a release plan that matches your goals and helps grow your fanbase.

I’ve worked with them extensively in producing two hip-hop albums, and have nothing but good things to say. They worked wonderfully every time to enact my vision, and do so with patience, humor, and loads of great creative input.

Hey, I’m Rob Hewitt, lead engineer at Golden Turtle Sound. I’ve spent over two decades immersed in production, sound design, mixing, and mastering—and I know firsthand how exciting and challenging the creative process can be.
For many self-recording artists, the hardest part isn’t writing songs – It’s getting them to sound competitive with their favorite records, while also feeling authentic to them.
They spend hours down the rabbithole of learning “tips and tricks” or uncovering “the secret sauce of modern pop music”, only to feel stuck with an amateur sound. Demos pile up, confidence dips, and tracks sit unreleased because they don’t feel “ready”.
It doesn’t have to be that way. With the right production, sound design, and mixing, your raw tracks and demos can become polished, professional, release-ready songs that keep your unique sound intact and stand strong in today’s modern music industry.
Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of artists and bands, both in the studio and on stage, in roles ranging from performer to producer to mastering engineer. That means I know the full process of what it takes to get songs from demo idea to ready to share with the world. If you’ve got great songs or demos that deserve modern production and engineering, I can help you.

Perfect—that’s exactly the kind of artist I love working with. Recording is only the first step. A producer helps shape those raw ideas into a polished, release-ready track that feels cohesive, emotional, and unmistakably you. Think of me as the bridge between your creativity and a record that stands alongside your favorite artists.
Every project is different, and pricing depends on what you need—whether it’s full production, mixing, mastering, or something in between. What I can promise is that you’ll walk away with music you’re proud of and confident sharing. Think of it less as a cost and more as an investment in your sound and your career.
👉🏽 The best way to find out is to book a call so we can talk through your project and see what makes the most sense for you.
Definitely not. You always have the final say. My role is to support your vision, add polish, and bring ideas to the table—but the sound and direction remain authentically yours.
And when it comes to rights and royalties, nothing changes—you own the finished production outright. I just ask for a proper credit.
Communication is everything. We’ll start by talking through your vision, references, and goals so I know exactly what you’re going for. Along the way I’ll share drafts, get your feedback, and fine-tune until the track feels right to you.
I keep things transparent and collaborative from start to finish. You’ll always know where we’re at, and your input shapes the direction every step of the way. Most artists I work with come back because they feel heard, supported, and happy with how their music turns out.
And here’s something important: I only take on projects I know I can deliver at a high level. If your vision is better served by someone else, I’ll point you toward a colleague who’s the right fit.
No one can guarantee streams or fame—and if someone says they can, they’re not being real with you. What I can guarantee is that your track will sound professional, competitive, and release-ready, giving it the best shot to connect with listeners. Great production can’t replace promotion, but it does give your music the foundation it needs to succeed.
It depends on the project, but most single tracks take about 3–5 days once we get started. If you’ve got a deadline, just let me know—I’ll be upfront about what’s realistic so you’re never left hanging.
Absolutely. A lot of artists start with one track to test the waters and see how the collaboration feels—no pressure. If you love the result, we can always build on it and talk about an EP or album down the line.
